Guided by Starlight

I've always been fascinated by the skies, and in particular, the stars.
I remember as a young boy I would spend time at my father's plot which was just outside Walkerville in the south of Johannesburg, and back then the skies were so incredibly clear at night. I would spend hours laying in my back looking up at the stars and losing myself in them.
This evening I took a walk down to the Umhlanga Lighthouse and decided to take this photo. Unfortunately there is a lot of light pollution from all the buildings, but I "took a shot" anyway.
The Lighthouse stood proud and tall, offering guidance and direction to anyone who should need it. It's strange, whenever I look for some sort of sign, or for some guidance, I tend to look up, and taking this photo that ideology resonated with me...
I hope that you like this photo. A slightly different angle of the lighthouse, but maybe there is some hope in guidance in it for you, as there was for me...
We are so incredibly blessed to be in such an incredibly beautiful and diverse country which is South Africa. We really do have everything and there is beauty at every turn, even when just looking up...
Keep looking for the beauty. It's everywhere. You'll see it.
I am Proudly South African.
