Are your prints truly limited edition?

Yes, indeed! Each limited edition print is produced in a small, fixed run, such as one of ten or one of five. Once an edition sells out, that image in that size and finish will not be printed again as a limited edition.

Are the prints signed and numbered?

Every limited edition print is hand signed by Christo Smith before being shipped off to a client.

Will my print come with a certificate of authenticity?

Absolutely! Each limited edition print from Christo Smith Photography comes with a certificate of authenticity. This certificate includes the title, edition number, and date, serving as a valuable record for future reference or resale.

Fire in the sky over Blue Lagoon in the morning.

Early one morning I was driving through Durban North when I noticed that the clouds were starting to light up from the approaching sunrise.

I headed down to Blue Lagoon to take a few photos of the sunrise.

It was a calm morning, with a cool and gentle salty breeze. The humidity hung thick in the air above the city. The ocean seemed to be in a pleasant mood as it washed up high onto the shore. The tide was high.

The clouds were scattered across the sky. The cool hues of the night started to get splashes of pinks and purples as the sun approached the horizon.

As I had hoped, the sky then started to ignite into a fire. Starting just above the horizon, the fire spread across the sky like wildfire, burning bright reds and oranges. The fire dripped from the sky into the ocean, and then spread across the water.

It was breathtakingly beautiful, and such an amazing way to start the day.

South Africa always leaves me breathless in her beauty.
