A quick shot of the setting crescent moon in conjunction with Venus this evening as seen from Umhlanga Rocks.
I quickly stepped out this evening and saw the moon hanging elegantly in the air, with a bright planet right next to it. I quickly ran back in to get my camera and telescope to take a quick photo. I then learned that the shining planet next to the moon this evening is Venus.
This is a composition of two photos, one of the moon and one of Venus, I then edited both the moon and Venus into one frame.
