You can order directly through the online shop by selecting your artwork size and finish then completing checkout. If you prefer personal assistance you can send a message via the contact form, website chat or website link at the bottom right and the Christo Smith Photography team will guide you through the options and payment.

Are your prints truly limited edition?

Yes, indeed! Each limited edition print is produced in a small, fixed run, such as one of ten or one of five. Once an edition sells out, that image in that size and finish will not be printed again as a limited edition.

Are the prints signed and numbered?

Every limited edition print is hand signed by Christo Smith before being shipped off to a client.

Will my print come with a certificate of authenticity?

Absolutely! Each limited edition print from Christo Smith Photography comes with a certificate of authenticity. This certificate includes the title, edition number, and date, serving as a valuable record for future reference or resale.

Surprise lightning over Durban.

One afternoon and evening we were surprised by a couple of quick thunderstorms that came over Durban.

No rain, nor thunderstorms were forecast for Durban, but a distant rumble indeed did grumble!

I heard the familiar sound of some thunder, so I headed down to Umhlanga Rocks to see if I could capture any photos. I drove through a bit of rain, but the rain stopped as fast as it started.

I did, however, see a feint rainbow over the ocean that subtly shone through the distant rain.

I went home, and before I knew it, I heard more distant thunder...

A good friend of mine let me use his balcony up on the 25th floor of the Radisson Blu in Umhlanga.

The lightning dashed across the humid sky above the city. We didn't receive any rain, but the clear skies made for dazzling lightning...

The lightning photo is a composite image created from some of the images that I captured, which have then been overlayed to create single image, showcasing the strikes that I managed to capture.

South Africa has the most incredible beauty, and her storms are amazing.

Keep looking for the beauty. It's there...
