Where Morning Lingered

The shift to cooler weather, and the beautiful clouds and skies definitely make this my favourite time of the year in Durban.

I also love the dawn. Just before the sun rises, when the day is still calm and quiet. The rich colours you see in the sky as the sun approaches the horizon make for incredible scenes.

A moment of quiet reflection and meditation before the mad rush of the day begins.

Serenity.

I went down to Bronze Beach in Umhlanga Rocks to try and capture some of the rich dawn colours over the ocean.

The ocean seemed to be lazy, as the waves calmly made their way up to the shore. The clouds above were wispy and slowly floating by.

It felt like the morning wasn't in a rush to get started.

South Africa always leaves me breathless in her beauty.
